All about the coffee
Panamanian Coffee
Nestled between the Pacific and Caribbean, Panama, has quietly risen as a star in specialty coffee. Its diverse microclimates, volcanic soil, and high altitudes in regions like Boquete, Volcán, and Chiriquí Highlands create the perfect conditions for producing exceptional, complex coffee.
Finca Hartmann
Finca Hartmann is a second-generation family-farm founded in 1962 by Ratibor Hartmann. Together with his wife and five children they manage multiple farms at elevations ranging from 1,300 to 2,000 meters above sea level. Nearly 100 hectares of forest reserves border the Parque Nacional de La Amistad, where coffee is shade-grown beneath native rainforest trees. Committed to conservation, the Hartmanns avoid cutting trees, replant native species, and prioritise sustainability, fostering a healthy ecosystem and producing exceptional coffee in harmony with nature.
