Nicaragua Colibri Azul

Nicaragua Colibri Azul

Might just be the perfect cafetière.

'Colibri Azul' translates to blue hummingbird - a resident of the nature reserve where this coffee grows. Try as I might, I cannot persuade Sarah in the Dusty Ape office to drink anything else - and we have over 20 coffees to choose from - consistently good.

Freshly rubbed sweet tobacco aroma, chocolate and apple.

Clean acidity, caramelised apple and chocolate with a sweet tobacco aroma.

From the region of Jinotega. The capital city has the same name, which is derived from the word xinotencatl which translates to city of old men! The local economy has been dependent on coffee for many years so there must be a lot of growing experience here!
