Ethiopia Kana Yirgacheffe

Yirgacheff is both a grade and a region of Ethiopia and Kana has that distinctive boozy-aroma of a natural with intense citrus, but unusually for a Yirg, there is also wild fruits, cashew and milk chocolate.

A donation is made to the Girls Gotta Run foundation -- a not for profit organisation that empowers girls in Ethiopia through running and education in an attempt to avoid early marriage and pregnancy. Athletic scholarships are provided in Sodo and Bukoji in the North Yirgacheffe region.
